The U502 5.5" Touchscreen High-Bright On-Camera Monitor from RGB voice features a touchscreen display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a high brightness of 2800 cd/m² to be viewable in bright, sunny conditions. There is also a brightness "opto-sensor" that will auto-adjust the brightness settings of the monitor based on the environment. The monitor supports HDMI input signals up to DCI 4K24 and provides an HDMI output for connecting to wireless transmitters, larger on-set monitors, and other devices. It also supports 3D LUTs via an SD card slot to view different color profiles.
A large set of software features includes waveform, histogram, and anamorphic mode. The menu system is made simple with the touchscreen through swiping and pinching. Multiple power options include a 12 VDC input and a battery slot that accepts an L-series or LP-E6 battery. An 8 VDC output can connect optional dummy battery cables to power your camera or an accessory. A 1/4"-20 mounting thread is provided on the bottom, and there's also a headphone jack to monitor your embedded audio.
